Wer den VLC media player von hier herunterlädt, bekommt nämlich statt der Original-Software nur einen Fork der Open-Source-Software. Unter dem Namen “VLC Plus Player” wird ein Klon des Mediaplayers angeboten, das auch ohne das typische Baustellenhütchen als Logo daherkommt.

Warum funktioniert VLC Media Player nicht?
Windows: Programme deinstallieren Starten Sie den VLC Player und wählen Sie oben unter “Werkzeuge” die “Einstellungen” aus. Klicken Sie nun unten auf den Button “Einstellungen zurücksetzen”. Hilft das nicht, wechseln Sie oben zur Registerkarte “Video”. Prüfen Sie, ob die Option “Video aktivieren” eingeschaltet ist.
