If it is present tense – maintain it until the end.

6. Write in simple language

There is no need to create intricate and sophisticated content. Simple texts that reach users are the best. There is no need to use difficult technical phrases if the publication does not require you to do so.

If, on the other hand, you must use technical phrases, explain the meaning in parentheses or link the issue to the source where it is described.

7. Refer to the source

If there are references to some information in your content, cite their source. Are you wondering why? Well, your text will gain authenticity and credibility. No one will accuse you of using information “from outer space”.


However, before you refer to the source, make sure that it is, first of all:

  • authentic
  • with as fresh a publication/update date as possible
  • comes from a trusted and reliable source

They must contain such information that will clearly describe what may be in a given section. By taking care of this issue, we give recipients the opportunity to read only the information that interests them.


It’s also worth bearing in mind that many of them will scan the headlines with their eyes and see if they find satisfying information in them before reading the whole article.


Hence, do not use one-word headlines, as they may be perceived differently.


12. Surprise the user and take care of the beginning

It’s not a well-known fact that users like “something different.” Breaking out conventions and writing content that addresses an issue in a different way has a better chance of gaining a group of satisfied fans than a constant and repetitive style.
