Is NOVA open for classes?

NOVA is closely monitoring local developments and is offering classes in a variety of formats this fall, from fully remote classes offered through NOVA Online to in-person classes held on one of our six campuses.

Does NOVA have night classes?

Obtain a college degree while working at your own pace with specially designed evening, weekend and online courses. NOVA has created a two-year Associate’s degree schedule that allows students to take courses on Fridays, weekends, and/or online.

To check your school schedule, go to your school counselor, call the school, and ask for your schedule. Usually, to find out your classes or schedule before school starts, you can get information 1-2 days before. Usually, you can visit student portals and get schedules there.

What kind of classes can you take at Nova?

Plan a path to a degree or certificate, or take classes at NOVA “a la carte.” Studying at NOVA is a unique experience. Our course catalog allows you to work toward an AAS, AAA, AA, or AS degree. But you can also feel free to take a single class, and to follow your interests wherever they may lead. It’s up to you!

When do classes start at Northern Virginia Community College?

13-week classes begin January 25. Second 8-week classes begin March 15. Second 5-week classes begin February 16. Third 5-week session begins March 30. Dynamic session classes start and end at any time before or after the regular session dates above. Course listings are not available in the PDF.

When to register for Nova Community College Fall 2021?

Fall 2021 Priority Registration begins for continuing students. Fall 2021 Open Registration begins for all students. Tuition payment deadline if you register by August 1. If you register August 2 or after, your tuition payment is due the next day. NOVA will not drop you for non-payment.
