How do I get 2021 World Book Day tokens?

World Book Day book tokens will be valid from Thursday 18 February – Sunday 28 March 2021. In 2021 participating booksellers will honour the tokens beyond the 28 March while stocks last. Please contact your local bookseller to check if they are able to offer £1/€1.50 off other titles.

Do Tesco accept World Bookday vouchers?

The tokens will also be accepted at all major UK supermarkets, including Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, and most large bookshop chains including WHSmith, Waterstones, and Eason. The World Book Day £1 book tokens cannot be used for online purchases.

How do World Book Day tokens work?

Children and young people can take the £1 book token to a local participating bookshop or retailer to swap it for one of the brilliant £1 World Book Day books for FREE. Or the token can be used to get £1 off any full price book (€1.50 in Ireland) or audiobook costing at least £2.99 (or €3.99 in Ireland).
