The current ban of all dogs on Penarth seafront between 1 May and 30 September is set to be removed. If approved during a full Vale of Glamorgan Council meeting on Monday (8 March), the decision will allow dogs on the beach all year round. The dog ban in place on Cold Knap beach in Barry will also be rescinded.
