The site itself is fine, nice walking distance to Stanley Park and drive into Blackpool. Just a shame the standards of the site left us with a bad overall experience. It pains me to write this review, after our family have been going to Marton Mere for over 20 years, and have always enjoyed our stay. This time however, we were beyond bitterly disappointed, to a point where we were genuinely worried about catching COVID whilst on holiday.

Can you use the boathouse at Marton Mere?

We booked a week at Marton Mere with the stay and play passes. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!! You can’t use the boathouse or the show bar as permanently booked up. For the one night we did manage to get in the show bar we ended up leaving as we’d been waiting an hour for our drinks which still hadn’t arrived.
